Driving is fun... well..I dont know about that.. but surely, atleast for me.. learning driving is BIG pain.. Its 3rd day of my driving learning class.. seems my hands have already started paining.. with amazing sarcastic instructor uncle sitting besides u, learning cannot be fun..
On d first day.. lots of butterflies were there in my stomache as well as in my head also as I was thinking, will I be able to learn this.. Is it my cup of coffee?? (i prefer coffee over tea.. ;)
As I was comparing this, with one of my childhood memory of learning skating. I tried that 3-4 weeks but all in vain and then I gave-up assuming its not my cup of tea.. ( now, I want to drink tea ;)
Now….BACK to driving.. well.. it was my 3rd day.. and I m learning holding stearing.. which is v.important part of maintaining balance of the car...basically, I m learning taking turns and more narrow turns, U-turns.. wid continous instructions entering in my head from my left ear.. (my instructor uncle).. and the moment I do any mistake, I always get a sweet comment, which is surely sarcastic.. and best part is that I cannot justify my mistake.. I remember, I tried this once on 2nd day.. But he said cutting my line in between.. "I m a teacher and u r a learner and u should never forget this. AND u should always accept ur mistake without any arguements".. I said.. haan ji.. theek hai".. watelse.. hhmm..
Also, on 3rd day.. he asked me very politely.. "ab to bachcha bada ho gaya, how old r u???".. and I was thinking, wah..!! this uncle is sweet and want to appreciate my learning skills or so-called driving skills.. and I said firmly with little optimism.. 21.. but all this feeling got vanished with his 2nd line.. "then, y r u rotating the stearing like 5 yr old kid..???" and my reaction is like "Oh.. God..!!", can't he say this straight forwardly?? ..isn't nice comment..?? huhh..???
well.. he is very honest .. no doubtedly.., when me and my mom went to ask him about his driving classes, he told us that I never shout on any of my students.. I teach them very politely.. but I think.. it was our mistake as we couldn’t decipher his meaning of "politeness"..
but .. in d end.. I think.. mujh jaise log aisi hi sikhenge.. hhmm.. And the hangover of learning driving is so high that instead of checking out smart hunks sitting in thier cars, I check their style of driving.. ;)
Now.. I will write after 15 days.. when I will learn driving completely to tell you whole experience of learning driving a car.. catch u soon.. Till then.. Eat well.. Sleep tight.. Be happy..!!
