Are you single .. or Mingle..???

R u single or mingle..??? You must have came across this question a lot of time, so, I have ('',)? 

Now-a-days, whenever I talk to my any friend after a long time, I have always come across this question. However, I have never able to decipher the psychology behind this question and my answer "single" put them in a state of shock. Now, They think my life has no fun, no enjoyment and I am living dull, mundane and boring life. Alas..!! Moreover, wherever I go, all I can see is lot of young couple coochie-cooing irrespective of the fact that they are sitting in public place with hundreds' eyes on them. Holding hands while roaming in a mall or shopping complex, looking into each others' eyes over a cup of coffee or even sometimes, I have got the chance to watch two movies simultaneously in a cinema hall (needless to mention that the 2nd one  is "A" grade movie, :-)

Especially, on 14th February, it seems like couples have got the legal permission to coochie-coo in public places, keeping all sharam ke parde aside.

Some couple even managed to find a small private place to coochie-coo in crowded bus. Do I need to mention about mention about parks, malls or movie halls, which are exceptionally crowded on that day. I think, Government should declare national holiday on 14th Feb.

In such prevailing scenario, if you don’t have a partner then you criminal and all your hooked friends and cousins gives you a strange look. Some even outcast you considering you as good for nothing fellow. Now, it seems to me that having a partner or boyfriend is mandatory part of our system. Also, if I won’t follow it, I will be ostracized. At times, I also feel that it is competition to make a partner (read boyfriend/ girl friend) show you status symbol (to survive in this society). I still remember, during my Internship days, I met a girl, who is 2 years younger to me and was proudly telling stories about her 11th boy friend and all her past experiences with other 10 boy friends.

However, I am not in strong support of this system as I feel one can enjoy his or her single hood much better than ones, who are hooked. One of the obvious advantages of single hood is to flirt with other boys or girls and no nagging in your life. You don’t have to give you daily chart of engagement to anyone. Also, you get ample of time to spend with yourself listening to music, reading novel or may be watching movie on laptop. You don’t have to spend long hours on phone, especially late night calls.

Lastly, I am not denying that one needs a shoulder to cry but it could be a warm friend also. Even having a partner does not necessitate showing your love or care for that person to the world.

May be, it is one of the side- effects of this valentine culture.

attitude.. huh..??

people says, all that matter is attitude...
one can be upset for two reosons. one, we didnot get what we wanted or what we expected and 2nd reason is others get what they expected or they wanted.
what we generally do, when we are upset, seeking others shoulders to cry or maybe, seeking privacy to cry on pillow.
But we never think, if we will try to step in others sheos, it will bite us b'ce it has not meant for us. Then you should keep the positive attitude that something good is really stored for u, which u will get at right time. And right time always double the value of right things.
whenever our close friend get upset, we generally console her/him saying that think positive and something good has been stored for you in whatever happen with you.
but whenever we get upset, we never able to understand.. what is so positive, that is hidden in whatever wrong happened with me and how long I have to wait to let this hidden +ve thing to come out to take place in my life..
so, one needs to be patient for that and should have a huge faith on god. he will give immense inner strength to fight all odds and to remain happy.
I have read somewhere when you think positive, it will go in the universe and attract +ve things and will return it back to u.. and same happen with -ve things. So, the choice is urs..
As every one is starving for peace and happiness in this world, if u will remain happy then people will come to you to double thier happiness.
So.. think positive, live with +ve attitude and have immense faith in god(if u believe in)
and u know somethng, there is always a better alternative to solve any problem..
think about that.. stay happy! stay precious..!!
